THE HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL STUBBINGTON BYPASS COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2017 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AT TITCHFIELD ROAD, GOSPORT ROAD and TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF STUBBINGTON, FAREHAM
1. Notice is hereby given that Hampshire County Council has made the Hampshire County Council Stubbington Bypass Compulsory Purchase Order 2017 under Sections 239 and 240 of the Highways Act 1980, and under Section 2 of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. It is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of the State for Transport for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise Hampshire County Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purposes of -
(a) The construction of a new 3.5 kilometre section of single carriageway road between the B3334 Titchfield Road at a point adjacent to no.293 Titchfield Road at the northern end, and the B3334 Gosport Road at a point circa 200m east of Marks Road, at the southern end through predominantly undeveloped farmland which lies within the Meon Strategic Gap.
2. A copy of the Order and the accompanying Map may be seen during business hours at the offices of the Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, S023 8UJ and at Fareham Library, Osborn Road, Fareham P016 7EN and Stubbington Library, Stubbington Lane, Stubbington, Fareham P014 2PP.
3. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport, Department for Transport, Local Authority Orders Section, National Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR before 28th September 2017 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of the objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.

An area of improved and amenity grassland and dense scrub within the centre of the Titchfield Gyratory junction (Plot 1);
An area of improved and amenity grassland and dense scrub within the centre of the Titchfield Gyratory junction (Plot 1);
Semi-improved grassland and dense / scattered scrub to the east of Titchfield Road (Plots 2,2a and 2b); An area of amenity broadleaved plantation woodland to the east of Titchfield Road forming part of grounds to a residential property (Plots 3,3a and 3b);
An area of amenity broadleaved plantation woodland to the east of Titchfield Road (Plot 4);
An area of improved and poor semi-improved grassland to the east of Titchfield Road (Plots 5,5a, 5b and 5c);
An area of improved and poor semi-improved grassland, broadleaved plantation woodland, horse arena,
dwelling house and outbuildings to the east of Titchfield Road (Plots 6,6a, 6b and 6c);
A strip of species poor hedge and semi-improved grassland to the west of Titchfield Road (Plots 7 and 7a);
A strip of species poor hedge and semi-improved grassland to the west of Titchfield Road forming part of field
held with a residential property (Plots 8 and 8a);
A small strip of species poor hedge and scattered broadleaved trees to the west of Titchfield Road (Plot 9); A strip of species poor hedge and arable land to the east of Titchfield Road forming part of market garden / farm shop and residential holding (Plots 10 and 10a);
An area of arable land, hardstanding (track), scattered scrub and broadleaved trees to the east of Titchfield Road, west of Ranvilles Lane and north of the Stubbington Ark forming part of market garden, farm shop and residential holding (Plots 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e and 100;
An area of arable land and species poor defunct hedge east of Ranvilles Lane and west of Crofton Ditch (Plots 11 and 11a);
An area of semi-improved grassland, marshy grassland, dense scrub, semi-natural broadleaved woodland
and scattered broadleaved trees adjoining Crofton Ditch (Plots 12-part, 12a and 12b);
An area of arable land, scattered scrub and scattered broadleaved trees located to the east of Crofton Ditch
and east and west of Peak Lane (Plots 12-part, 12c, 12d, 12e, 12f, 12g and 12h);
An area of hardstanding (path) and species poor hedge located to the east of Peak Lane, which forms part of
the old alignment of Peak Lane (Plot 13);
An area of arable land, ditch and species poor hedge located to the east of Peak Lane and south of Tanners Lane (Plots 14,14a and 14b);
An area of arable land, hardstanding (read/track), disused piggery buildings and bare ground located to the north-east and east of Stubbington, south of Tanners Lane, west of HMS Collingwood, west of the Peel Common Sewage Treatments Works and north of Gosport Road (Plots 15,15a, 15c, 15d, 15e, 15f, 15g, 15h, 15i,15j,15kand 151);
An area of arable land and poor semi-improved grassland located to the north of Gosport Road (Plot 15b); An area of broadleaved plantation woodland, ditch, semi-improved grassland and scattered scrub at Peel Common Sewage Treatment Works (Plots 16 and 16a);
An area of improved grassland, outbuildings, ditch and species poor hedge to the north of Gosport Road (Plots 17,17a and 17b);
A strip of arable land, semMmproved grassland, ruderal herb and fern, and species rich/poor hedge adjoining the southern side of Gosport Road and western side of Broom Way (Plots 18,18a and 18b); An area of improved grassland located to the east of the Titchfield Road/Bridge Street junction (Plots 19, 19a and 19b); and
An area of hardstanding (road), dry ditch and species poor defunct hedge, on and adjoining Ranvilles Lane
(Plot 20).
