REFRIGERATION and air conditioning staff kept their cool to scoop some top industry awards.
the team from Coolmation picking up their award
Two Ringwood companies, Coolmation and ColdService, won Air Conditioning Product of the Year and Contractor of the Year respectively at the annual Cooling Industry Awards.
Coolmation secured its win with a new innovation, the Rhoss Adaptive Function Plus, which significantly reduces the energy consumption of chillers and heat pumps.
Chairman of Coolmation Gary Franklin said: “We are hugely proud of this achievement. The product rightly deserves the prize for its impressive energy saving credentials at a time when saving fuel and carbon emissions are priorities for us all.”
He added: “Every single person in our 80 strong workforce is delighted with the news.”
ColdService won its award for all-round quality of service.
Chairman of ColdService Peter Grimes said: “For an independent business up against much bigger corporations, this success is a ringing endorsement of the way ColdService does business.”
The awards were held at a gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel in London, in front of an audience of more than 700 guests. Both Coolmation and ColdService operate with a head office in Ringwood and regional offices across the country, providing national coverage.
