IT seems top chefs just can’t get enough of Winchester at the moment.

Marwell Hotel has recently appointed Richard Cameron as their new executive chef, and Mr Cameron brings with him 25 years of catering experience and some high-profile establishments on his CV.

He maintained three rosettes for three years at Rowhill Grange Hotel and Spa, and has also worked at London’s prestigious Langham Hotel.

Mr Cameron said: “Marwell Hotel provides such a fantastic opportunity for me to take a blank canvas and really make my mark. The Bastian family, who own the hotel, are fantastic people who have built a strong offering for people looking for a woodland escape.”

Under Mr Cameron, a new is to be launched with a focus on British and European cuisine, complimenting local produce wherever possible.
