Winchester City Council to host business conference next month

WINCHESTER City Council is hosting a business conference next month.

The council invites local businesses to the event on February 14 at Intech Science Centre, Morn Hill, from 9am-1.30pm.

The conference, Business in the 21st Century, is open to any business based in the Winchester district whatever the size.

Keynote speakers include Chris Cooper of IBM and David Frost, chairman of the National Local Enterprise Partnership Network.

Cllr Robert Humby, host and deputy leader of the city council, said: “This administration’s top priority is to support and grow the economy of the Winchester district, and as the portfolio holder and deputy leader I am doing all I can to ensure that our members and officers play their part.”
