Wyre Forest Historical Research Group

8:00am Monday 8th April 2013

The group will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, April 10 in the Corn Exchange at Kidderminster Town Hall, starting at 2pm.

John Yates, the genealogist at Birmingham Register Office, will regale members with ‘A Funny Thing happened on the way to the Register Office, Part III’.

Publicity officer Gay Hill said: “The building blocks of family history are birth, marriage and death certificates, which, if you do not already have them in the family, can be obtained from register offices.

“John has regaled us with parts one and two of his talk, which were both very popular so we are all really looking forward to hearing part three of his talk.“ Everyone is welcome to attend. There is a small entry fee which includes refreshments.

For further information on the talk or on tracing your family history, telephone Gay Hill on 01562 746370.
