Motorists are being warned about severe delays due to the bad weather and strong winds which have led to a 40mph speed limit on parts of the M62.
At Leeds Bradford Airport there is disruption to flights due to adverse weather. Passengers are being advised to contact their airline.
A weather warning was issued last night for strong winds throughout West Yorkshire.
There is queueing traffic and severe delays on the M62 Eastbound between Junction 23 to Junction 27 of the M621 / A650 / A62 (Gildersome).
Travel time is estimated at one hour along that route.
