NEARLY 500 people have passed through the doors for the Daily Echo's Jobsfair in the first two hours.
Dozens of people filed into the Novotel hotel in Southampton this morning in search of jobs or job advice.
The fair will feature numerous stands from leading companies in a range of professions and hundreds of jobs could be up for grabs.
They include New Forest Care, the Army, Carnival group, Capita Group, National Fostering, Carillion Construction Training and defence firm QuinetiQ.
Jobseekers can also get helpful advice from some of the region’s industry experts, who will be sharing their words of wisdom at a series of talks and seminars.
Visitors can also get support and advice from the National Careers Service, such as writing a CV, searching for jobs and interview techniques.
Sparsholt College and other training providers will have stands giving people the chance to find out more about apprenticeships, training schemes and further education.
The Jobsfair continues until 3pm.
