An EASTLEIGH firm specialising in global marine transport has joined the British Marine Federation (BMF).

Peters & May, who are exhibiting at this year’s Dusseldorf Boat Show, are one of the newest members to take advantage of the BMF’s international programme.

Chief executive David Holley said: “We are looking forward to utilising the many benefits of BMF membership. As with our investment in specialist cradles, lifting equipment and loadmasters to keep up with the demand for our growing superyacht shippings, we also see investing in the support structure of the BMF and its team as an important step.”

Hayley James, head of member relations at the British Marine Federation said the move will allow the firm to grow its business as it works closely with BMF associations, BMF Commercial Marine and Superyacht UK.

“We are really excited to be working with the team at Peters & May again and to maximise the value of membership,” she said. “Peters & May is keen to get involved in the BMF committees which drive our work; it’s great to hear their enthusiasm.”
