STAFF at a Hampshire business have helped raise £2,500 for a good cause.
Employees of the Drivers Direct branch, off Woodside Avenue, in Eastleigh, were involved in the national firm’s black tie event.
All employees were asked to make a donation to the charity in exchange for attending the company’s all inclusive annual black tie event in London.
The funds raised were doubled by Drivers Direct, resulting in a £2,500 total for Marie Curie.
Marie Curie Care helps care for people with terminal illnesses to give them the best quality of life, providing expert care.
This donation will pay for more than 125 hours of the charity’s nurses’ time.
