A SOUTHAMPTON hotel may have the chance of winning an inspirational regional title.
The Mercure Dolphin Hotel has been announced as a finalist for the learndirect Inspiration Awards.
The city branch has been nominated for the Business Impact award for its success with hospitality apprentices, helping employees to succeed in the industry.
Manager Arthur Callaghan said: “Confident staff in all areas benefit in the business and make us all proud of working in the hospitality industry. I’m really pleased with the support and development of my employees and I’m planning to put through a number of new learners.”
The awards celebrate apprentices or learners going the extra mile to develop industry skills and the results will be revealed at a ceremony in Reading on Thursday.
