HAMPSHIRE communications giant Onecom is one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies for the second year running, according to The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 index.
The index lists privately-owned technology businesses with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years.
Currently the nation’s largest independent business-to-business telecommunications provider, Onecom, based in Fareham, is ranked 79 in this year’s list.
Richard Schafer, Onecom’s managing director, pictured, said: “To be recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies two years in a row is welcome testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole Onecom team."
He said “excellent customer service” was at the heart of the company’s success.
Onecom was formed in 2013 by the merger of Premier Telecom, a previous Vodafone Platinum Partner and Sunday Times Tech Track 100 company, with Business Phones Direct.
Premier Telecom appeared in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 index in 2011 and 2012.
