A WORLDWIDE pizza chain opens a new store in Southampton today creating 25 jobs.
Domino’s opens a new store on Weston Lane for pizza fans in the Weston, Bursledon, Netley and Hamble areas.
The 25 jobs include pizza makers, customer service staff and delivery drivers who will all be recruited locally.
Jenny Price, area manager at Domino’s, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Southampton, and we’re celebrating the opening by offering 50 per cent off pizzas when you spend £20 or more online with voucher code 50WESTON.
“There’s also plenty of employment opportunities for people.
In particular we’re searching for delivery drivers, who can provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as being pepperoni passionate for freshly made pizza.”
New staff will benefit from on the job training ranging from dough management and food hygiene through to road safety for all delivery drivers.
The move comes after Dominos which has outlets in 75 countries recently opened its 1000th UK store in Overton near Basingstoke at the start of the month.
Dominos has three outlets in the city at Shirley, The Avenue and Bitterne.
