Southampton-based Carnival UK is celebrating after several of its cruise brands picked up awards at a national ceremony.

Princess Cruises, Seabourn and Holland America Line were all on the winners' list at the Cruise International Awards 2017, while P&O Cruises was twice highly commended.

Princess Cruises scooped a trio of awards including the overall 'Best Cruise Line' for an unprecedented fourth year in a row. P&O Cruises was highly commended in the category.

Princess won 'Best Product or Service' for its 'ultimate balcony dining'. And it was also 'Best for First-Time Cruisers', with P&O Cruises again highly commended.

Seabourn won the prestigious 'Best Luxury Cruise Line' while its newest vessel, Seabourn Encore, was highly commended as 'Best New Ship'.

Holland America Line was voted 'Best for Wellbeing' and highly commended in the 'Best for Enrichment' category.

Wine expert and broadcaster Oz Clarke presented the event, which was held at The Ritz Hotel in London. The awards were voted for by the readers of Cruise International, the UK’s best-selling consumer travel magazine dedicated to cruise holidays.
