Joe Newman, Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties Apprentice of the Year.
A FAREHAM Student has been named apprentice of the year by a major housebuilder.
Painting and decorating apprentice Joe Newman, 22, from Gosport, currently studying for his Level Two NVQ at Fareham College has been rewarded by Taylor Wimpy Southern Counties for his positive attitude onsite and in the class room.
Sarah Pasco, managing director for Taylor Wimpy, said: “Joe’s conscientious approach to both his work and studies singled him out and has quickly made him a valued member of the Taylor Wimpy family.”
This is the second year that Taylor Wimpey has held its Apprentice of the Year awards.
