A MARKETING training firm founded in Hampshire has expanded into new London offices, doubling its capacity.
The Marketing College specialises in training adults to be marketing professionals, frequently career changers hoping to tap into salaries of up to £50,000.
One year after setting up in Eastleigh to train people in the arts of search engine optimisation strategies and pay per click advertising, founder Fiona Greybe has moved up to the capital due to demand.
The college has attracted the backing of millionaire Winchester businessman and veteran vocational learning entrepreneur Tim Addison after he hired graduates for his other companies.
Fiona, who has ten years experience in Web design and marketing, said: “The course we are delivering is proving to be so popular. It is answering a demand in the workplace for people qualified in e-marketing. It is basically marketing in the digital world. There’s a shortage of qualified people out there and a lot of businesses have suddenly woken up to the fact that it is very important to have a website that is properly marketed.
“The move to London has more than doubled our size and we hope it is going to get bigger and bigger. We are looking at extra courses to take on. We are looking at going business to business and we are even looking at going across to Europe. There’s so much pot-ential for what we are doing. We have got big ideas.”
