JAMES Bennett, the managing director of Hampshire waste management company Hippowaste, and marketing colleague Lisa Fines mark the 100,000th domestic collection of the famous foldaway skip bag. The firm was set up three years ago and employs 55 people at its head office in Titchfield, near Fareham.
Its trademark yellow product, which comes in two sizes, is stocked at retail chains like B&Q, Travis Perkins, Homebase and Wickes.
The smaller one costs £7.99 to buy and a further £39.75 for collection and disposal, which Hippowaste claims is cheaper than metal skip hire.
Meanwhile, Bennett has just been selected by the Environment Agency to provide the environmental watchdog with advice.
