8:00am Thursday 17th August 2006

THE ANCIENT art of Indian head massage has had a dramatic result on a Hampshire sales team.

A team at TML Financial Solutions in Whiteley found that a session of the Eastern healing technique increased sales by nearly ten per cent.

"The session paid dividends as we managed to convert nine per cent more mortgages in the afternoon session than we normally do.”

Team leader Steve Davies

Team leader Steve Davies said: "It was an amazing experience. We went into the afternoon full of vitality and raring to go.

TML Financial Solutions has previously hit the headlines after hiring a company therapist and treatment room accessible to its 250 staff in their lunch hour.

Penny Searles, TML chief operating officer said: "We are a very forward-thinking company and not adverse to trying different things. One of the sales team suggested we give it a go and he was right."
