FIRMS keen to raise their profile are signing up to an Echo-based event promoting business.

The latest to join February’s Business Works conference and exhibition are Fareham-based coach firm Lucketts, Southampton marketing agency bandv, and motor dealership the Freeborn group who will all be promoting the services they offer at Southampton’s Novotel hotel in February.

Founded by Mike Freeborn in 1980, The Freeborn Group is one of the largest motor groups in the south.

They offer used Citroën cars from dealerships in Southampton, Winchester, Guildford and Wokingham, as well as dozens of quality second-hand vehicles from other marques and aftersales services for Citroën.

Family business Lucketts, founded in 1926, operate a fleet of more than 100 fully air-conditioned vehicles ranging from six to 77 seat capacities and coaches fitted with W.C, TV, DVD and CD players.

bandv are an inbound marketing agency based in Southampton and established in 1983.

Using the latest in marketing automation and technology, coupled with awesome creative, they help businesses gain a return on their marketing budgets.

The keynote speaker at the event will be Carnival Cruises executive vice-president guest experience Elaine Holt who will deliver a speech entitled "Standing out from the Crowd”.

Carl Churchill, managing director of NetPay Solutions Group, will give a presentation entitled "Mind the Gap – finding that USP". at the South Coast Business Works at the city’s Novotel hotel in February The event, on Wednesday, February 10, will be a valuable networking opportunity for established and up-and-coming companies.

Leading solicitors Trethowans are principal sponsors for the fourth year running alongside event partners Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Destination Southampton.
