SOUTHAMPTON Premier Motorcycles have the city’s newest motorcycle showroom after moving to Portsmouth Road at Woolston.
They offer a full dealer service which includes finance, warranties, clothing and kit with brands like Buffalo and Blitz, accessories, parts – in fact all your biking needs, with part exchange available on both motorcycles and cars and servicing and repairs carried out by experienced technicians.
Premier specialises in Pulse and Lexmoto machines, with 50cc to 125cc scooters, but they also have a good selection of used motorcycles of 600cc and above You may not be familiar with Pulse – or Jinlun, Haotian, Sanben or Znen, come to that – but it should pay to remember those names.
The fact is that standard, finish and reliability of these machines have dramatically improved. They also represent good value and affordable investment for riders.
In the Sixties many ‘true’ motorcyclists considered Japanese bikes to be mere upstarts, cheap and tinny machines for transport rather than enjoyment.
Japan is now the market leader, a position they reached by giving customers what they wanted.
The two most popular machines in Premier’s showroom are the Pulse Scout and the Pulse Adrenaline 125, – different machines for different requirements and riders.
The Scout is a scooter powered by a four-stroke 50cc engine that will serve as learner or commuter transport.
The Adrenaline 125 – Pulse’s flagship model – is a cracking looking 125cc fourstroke off-road styled bike, that wouldn’t look out of place at a bike night.
