Fire causes hotel evacuation

GUESTS were evacuated from a Hampshire hotel last night after a chimney fire broke out.

Fire crews were called to the Westover Hall Hotel in Milford-On-Sea at around 5.30pm amid reports of a blaze at the top of the building.

Teams from Lymington, Brockenhurst and Redbridge used ladder platform equipment to reach the fire.

A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said nobody was injured during the incident and that the cause of the blaze was still under investigation.
