Girl,12, hurt in car accident
A 12-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being freed from beneath a vehicle on a Southampton road.
Fire crews were called to the junction between Palm Road and Olive Road amid reports that there had been a two-car collision.
The area was closed off for an hour while emergency teams released the girl from under one of the cars.
She was then taken to Southampton General Hospital suffering cuts to her face.
Nobody else is believed to have been hurt during the incident.

I have often seen comments from other people about the less than acurate nature of the details in some of the reports on this website. Until now I have just over looked them. Unless there were two accidents on the same stretch of road this young girl is not 12, there were not two car's involed and sadly she does not just have cuts to her face. I know that these details may not matter to everyone however to this young girl and her family it does.
