A reputation of excellent examination results

Totton College is the only sixth form college located in the New forest Hampshire.

It offers courses to students from a wide area courtesy of its established travel network. Totton is recognised for its welcoming, warm atmosphere, usually referred to as ‘The friendly college’.

It has a reputation of excellent examination results and provides individually based education to a diverse student profile. Courses include A Levels, Applied A Levels, BTECs, Diplomas, NVQs, Apprenticeships as well as a wide programme of course enhancements including International trips and work placements.

The ‘Sports Academy’ provides superb training and development to students through international coaches in: Football, Rugby, Basketball, Swimming and fitness. A ’Talented Athlete Package’ in association with Solent University is also in place.

The Performing Arts Academy’s aim is to train students in order for them to progress towards a successful professional performance career in Music, Dance or Drama, using its facility at Hanger Farm Arts Centre is integral to this provision.

The Psychology Academy’s vision is to deliver a first class programme for any second-year A Level student who wishes to pursue Psychology at University.

‘The Sixth Form Baccalaureate (Science)’ is aimed at the able and talented A Level Scientists. Exceptional candidates can apply for the ‘Baccalaureate Plus’.

Students have free access to all facilities which includes a swimming pool, sports hall and Gym. An extensive Learning Resource Centre with its library.

Student facilities include a Restaurant/Cafe with Costa Coffee in the Student Lounge and the new social area, the Atrium, having been constructed in 2010.
