Friday evening saw the launch of a superbly designed office in a prime location with new owners of the company at the helm, following the retirement of founder, Paul Hellard. With an established local reputation for a traditional service already in place, Gordon Thoday and Peter Waldron saw the perfect opportunity to fulfil a long term ambition to have their own estate agency in this thriving town, utilising Gordon’s many years of experience within the industry. On the evening the office quickly filled with invitees all keen to congratulate the business partners on the opening of the smart new premises.
Friends for many years, Gordon and Peter have found the perfect launch pad for an energetic and forward thinking business offering a highly personalised service.
Gordon explains: “We will deliver a traditional service the public have come to expect from Hellards, with attention to detail, professionalism and reliability. The fresh team we have put together is full of enthusiasm and we are thrilled with the prominent office we have secured and designed to be inviting for clients as well as a work space to be proud of.”
In addition to dealing with residential sales and lettings within the confines of Alresford, the team will also cover the outlying villages within a few miles’ radius including Cheriton, Bramdean, Ropley, Bighton, Itchen Abbas and The Worthys.
Peter adds: “When we heard that Hellards might be available, Gordon and I saw the opportunity to build on an established reputation and to bring a new vitality to the company by re-launching. The stylish logo, fabulously positioned and designed office in Broad Street, and enthusiastic staff with a depth of local knowledge will all play their part as we move forward.”
Gordon, who will be managing the daily running of the company, lives in Alresford with his family and has a wide network of friends, business contacts and clients as evidenced by the amazing turnout to celebrate the launch of this exciting venture.
