Mondrian Mews is the latest in a series of unique developments by Roxan, a local developer which has built a reputation across the south coast for nearly thirty years.

Mondrian Mews boasts all that is great in modern architectural style and materials with contemporary exterior cladding, aluminium windows and a quality internal specification. The grid based style is heavily influenced by Piet Mondrian whose highly individual style of painting of almost a hundred years ago still looks fresh and modern today. Poetic licence has been exercised with additional orange and green added to Mondrian’s classic prime colour palette.

The coloured glass panels create interesting character and cast wonderful light on the fascinating interiors which the show house shows off to perfection with a striking array of furnishings and accessories. In-house interior designer, Laleh Yeganegy has thoroughly enjoyed this latest project and she has given free rein to her artistic nature and fully embraced the architectural style.

Laleh says: “It was good to be involved from the beginning with these townhouses and I assisted with the internal layouts to make the houses work over a number of levels for a range of purchasers. It was also great fun creating a colourful backdrop for the show home and demonstrating how this house could best be used with plenty of storage throughout and the living space flowing easily out to the garden.”

Features such as a dumb waiter from the kitchen to the dining room above really make best use of the space and the vast majority of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes which help to make these houses easy to move into. A range of layouts are still available with either four or five bedrooms over four floors and all homes with secure, covered parking, private gardens and balconies. The two smaller homes each with two bedrooms have already been reserved as has the unique house on the end of the Mews.

Situated on Portland Road, just a few roads back from the seafront in Southsea, this is a quiet location in an area of traditional tree lined avenues and is literally round the corner from a host of shops, amenities and nursery and junior schools. The wonderful seafront is just a few minutes’ walk away where the air freshens with the onshore breeze and the acres of sea and sky never fail to lift the mood.

The official launch to the market is planned for Saturday 8 August when the sales team from Morris Dibben will be on hand to assist with enquiries and the show home will be available to view. Prices are from £445,000 for a four bedroom townhouse and further details are available by calling Morris Dibben on 023 9273 7121.
