SHE is fluent in English and Italian and wants to work in retail or hospitality.

But as thousands of Hampshire’s 18 to 25-year-olds are unemployed, it’s difficult to get noticed.

That’s why Anna Taddei has joined the Daily Echo’s Give Me a Chance campaign, which aims to match jobseekers with employers.

The 23-year-old, from Northlands Road, Southampton, achieved a degree in yacht design at the University of Architecture in Genoa, Italy.

She moved to Southampton from Italy with friends this summer and is hoping to start a masters degree in yacht design at Southampton Solent University in autumn 2014, but for the time being she is looking for a job to expand her experience and help improve her English.

She said: “At the moment I’m just looking for a part-time job or work that is full-time for a year.”

Anna has previous experience as a waitress, lifeguard and swimming teacher, so feels that she would easily fit back into any of these roles again.

Although she is not fussy, she would prefer a part-time job that would fit around her language classes.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys swimming and going to the gym, but most of all she’s keen to find work.
