CHRISTMAS officially got under way in a Hampshire neighbourhood as it was transformed into a winter wonderland.
Father Christmas and his elves put in a special appearance joining scores of local people who turned out for the festivities in Harefield.
Youngsters from the area danced their way through the streets having carefully crafted costumes and accessorisies to wear for the Winter Wonderland Parade The fun began at Woodlands Community College and toured around the Fritham Road and Bentley Green area of the estate as residents came out to watch.
