THOUSANDS will converge in the heart of Southampton tomorrow for a cultural festival.
The Southampton Mela Festival is returning for its 12th year to Hoglands Park.
It will see an assortment of musical styles, exhilarating dance acts, fun family activities and vivid exhibitions and stalls.
Artists will include leading musicians and dancers in Indian classical, Bollywood, folk, world music, Qawwali, Asian fusion and Bhangra styles from noon to 9pm.
The food court and bar offer a range of dishes and drinks from around the world.
The event has been organised by Art Asia and will see people from a variety of ethnic communities in Hampshire taking part.
As well as music and dance there will be a sport zone where families can take part in martial arts and aerobics.
Anyone looking to build their musical talents can also take part in a musical workshop.
