The Concorde Classics and Sports Car Show, taking place tomorrow in aid of Naomi House Children’s Hospice, is set to be a great day out for all the family.
From10am-4pm visitors can admire classic cars of all ages, sports cars, super cars and a Ferrari display. There will be a racing paddock containing Michael Schumacher’s Benetton Formula 1 car and a full size Formula 1 simulator where visitors may attempt to win a prize by setting the fastest time of the day.
The car enthusiast group Sporting Bears will offer members of the public a 10-mile ride in one of the 15 Dream Cars, such as an Aston Martin, a Jaguar XK140 and a Ferrari 458 Spider, for a minimum donation – every penny of which goes to Naomi House.
There will be refreshments and a barbeque on offer, a jazz band providing live music throughout the day, a face painting area, a range of trade stalls to browse through as well as “Trigger the Train” providing free rides in the near-by car park.
