IT reads like the who’s who of cult sci-fi shows and is enough to make any self-confessed geek lean forward on their chair.
The list begins with four names that require little explanation for Red Dwarf fans – Lister, Rimmer, Cat and Kryten aka Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn.
There’s model and actress Nathalie Cox known for her role as Juno Eclipse in the Star Wars video game.
And she’s joined by a host of other Star Wars characters from the alien, Leesub Sirln, played by Pam Rose and Femi Taylor, the actress behind Jabba the Hutt’s slave dancer, Oola, to Jeremy Bulloch who was Boba Fett and dwarf, Brian Wheeler, who appeared as both an Ewok and a Jawa.
For ‘Whovians’, Colin Baker, the sixth doctor of the hit Doctor Who needs no introduction.
They are among the most famous sci-fi stars that all come from a galaxy far away. And it’s almost impossible to think they will meet here in Hampshire at Totton’s Conservative Club, The Empire Hall and Totton and Eling Community Hall.
But that’s exactly what will happen this weekend at charity events on Saturday and Sunday in aid of children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent and the Piam Brown ward at Southampton General Hospital.
