ENJOY a family fun day together with the switching on of Eastleigh’s Christmas lights and firework display tomorrow.
Daytime attractions will run from 11am until 4pm and include a craft market plus children’s rides, Santa’s grotto, animal farm, face painting and climbing wall.
Santa will also take time out of his busy schedule and lead a special Christmas Light Parade commencing at 5.15pm. Then at 6pm, the town is set to be all lit up when the Mayor of Eastleigh, Councillor Malcolm Cross – assisted by Santa Claus – will switch on the town’s 2013 Christmas lights display. A spectacular free firework display will follow the official switch on of the lights and cap a special day in the town centre.
A winter wonderland is also being created at The Sorting Office, the town’s creative hub.
