A NEW theatrical events firm, The Two Mice Company, has begun to spread frivolous fun across Winchester.

The pair behind the company, James Rothery and Honor Tuttiett, both grew up in the city and have been working together on outside, performance based events since meeting in Bristol in 2012.

They started with productions like 'High Tea At The Castle' where groups of adults would come dressed up in their finest Victorian clothing, for games of croquet and oversized eating of jelly at long banquet tables outside Berkeley Castle.

Their love for turning a normal situation into something fantastical and different is now shown through their new event, Where Is The Easter Bunny?!

An Easter egg hunt with a twist, this weekend's event sees eight performers stationed around Winchester acting as the Easter bunny's animal friends.

They will be hidden amongst a mapped trail, waiting to give riddles to groups of parents and children for them to guess their way to the next location.

Each group will be told the story of the day, leading them towards the grand finale party on St Giles's Hill. Youngsters will get the chance to meet the infamous Easter bunny and receive their last Easter present.

The event, which runs from Saturday to Monday, can be booked at twomicecompany.co.uk.
