AT PSP Southampton BOAT SHOW… IT’S all about the food this weekend as more of the action moves away from the water and onto dry land.

Of course, you can still enjoy all the boating action, displays and stands, but it’s also a food lover’s paradise.

Enjoy cooking demonstrations with celebrity chef Mark Sargeant (pictured), co-presenter of ITV’s Breakfast programme Saturday Cookbook and has been a regular on the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen.

Rebecca Baddeley presents Cooking with Spitbank Fort, showing how to cook various types of line caught fish available close to the fort, and enjoy Great Hampshire Dining with The Chesil Rectory and head chef Damian Brown.

The Great British Oyster Festival also continues with Katy Davidson of Mangezmoi. Learn about oysterages from all over the UK, their sustainability and health benefits.

There’s also live entertainment from Southampton favourite Charley Macaulay tomorrow night.

AT New Forest FESTIVAL… TWO stages will run simultaneously at Brockenhurst College tomorrow presenting a great selection of acts from across the New Forest. Enjoy everything from 11-piece classic swing and jazz band FAT 45 to Jamaican-influenced ska band New Town Kings and from Pronghorn’s upbeat country and bluegrass influenced punk rock to soulful singer Ebony Day. As well as music, the New Forest Festival presents film, performing arts, story-telling, arts and crafts and food. It takes place from 11am to 11pm.

AT Fareham SHOPPING CENTRE… BBC News journalist and presenter Nicholas Owen will be at Waterstones in Fareham tomorrow to sign copies of his autobiography.

The former royal correspondent will be in store to meet shoppers and tell them about his latest book, Days Like This, a title about his exhilarating half century working in the media.

AT BROADLANDS… HAMPSHIRE’S biggest re-enactment event You’re History is returning to Romsey for another action-packed weekend.

It takes visitors on an educational journey from Ancient Greece through to the modern day. And the grounds of the Broadlands Estate provide the perfect setting for a battle re-enactments and a traditional jousting tournament for all of the family to enjoy tomorrow and Sunday

AT N OR TH BADDESLE Y RECREATION GROUND… HAND balancing, aerial acrobats, juggling, whip cracking and funny dogs – Circus Ginnett is in town until Sunday.

During a oneand- a-halfhour show, enjoy Irish clown Baz, Patrick with his police dog Vader, and aerial acrobatics from Anke.

AT EASTLEIGH FIRE STATION… IT’S fire day. The public are invited to watch a series of demonstrations, enjoy the live birds of prey and take part in a host of activities on Sunday between 10am and 4pm.

AT HILTINGBURY RECREATION GROUND… MORE than 4,500 people are expected to turn out for Chandler’s Ford ’s biggest event.

There will be bungee trampolines, a tethered ballon and stage entertainment, go karts and pony rides at the event on Sunday.
