THE PIG and Lime Wood’s annual summer music and food festivals are back and ready to announce headline acts including Razorlight, John Illsley (Dire Straits) and Noisettes.
Smoked & Uncut 2018 are determined to make sure this year is bigger and better than ever before.
There will be four dates spread over the summer months, with two of them – The Pig in Brockenhurst and Lime Wood in Lyndhurst coming to Hampshire.
On June 16 The Pig will play host to the opening date and Smoked & Uncut favourites, Noisettes, will be back to offer their annual showcase of upbeat summer fun.
Alongside the Noisettes will be the legendary John Illsley from Dire Straits.
July 14 sees Lime Wood, sister hotel to The Pig’s, dishing up an event to follow on from The Kooks sell-out performance last year – as well as having multiple stages, pop-up restaurants and glamping, Lime Wood will be joined by chart-topping Razorlight, who will headline this year’s festival.
Food has always played a massive part of Smoked & Uncut and 2018 will be no different, so, get stuck into some serious flavour at the long table, family-style feasts.
Angela Hartnett and her chef friends will be hosting a three-course feasting lunch in our mobile Field Kitchen, popping up at each festival this summer.
The Field Kitchen will feature chefs such as Sophie Michell, Mitch Tonks and Lee Tiernan.
What’s more, Mark Hix will be paying homage to the British love of a classic Indian takeaway, combining his passion for British ingredients with the authentic flavours of India – the Ruby Murray House will be dishing up indulgent home-style Indian curry topped off with a refreshing lager.
Smoked & Uncut are also very pleased to announce that Harriet Rose will be DJing at all of the events.
She has supported the likes of Craig David, Gorgon City & Neiked and performed sets at various celebrity and charity events including London Fashion Week.
In 2017, the festivals experienced their biggest numbers to date, so if you’re looking for a little nostalgia, delicious food and a festival to dance the night away then one needn’t look any further than Smoked & Uncut.
