THE hugely popular Big Bournemouth Beer Festival returns to the BIC for the Easter weekend.

Now in its seventh year there’s “something for everyone” at this year’s festival has over 200 traditional real ales, novelty and seasonal beers, plus a cider and perry bar. There’s wine available too.

Stewart Parker, group executive head chef for BH Live has crafted a beer inspired menu featuring nachos, dirty spuds and smokehouse brisket chilli (to name a few).

There will be ticketed sessions on Friday and Saturday and the admission price includes a souvenir beer glass, tasting guide and £1.50 worth of drinks vouchers. You can also purchase your drinks vouchers with your tickets.

The Friday and Saturday sessions include live music from some of the best local talent: Friday (evening) The Tarheels; Saturday 26 (lunchtime) The Jimmy Hillbillies and Saturday 26 (evening) Black Water Country.

The weekend finishes with the famous ‘Sup-up Sunday’ a free non-ticketed session and the Gigs and Rigs open mic. This is the final session and all beer must go!
