WE would like to use your good office to draw attention to the wonderful service the Honeybourne Community Games received from the Wychavon Community Development Team on Saturday.
Not only did the WCD Team offer their full support to our event, they impressed everyone with their commitment, professionalism and the fun they brought to the occasion.
By engaging with everyone in a relaxed, fun manner they were able to demonstrate the importance of a healthy lifestyle with a free health check service, sports coaching with a variety of activities, an arts workshop, Nordic walking, and a magnificent pedalpowered smoothie bike.
To witness a youngster who did not like bananas enjoy a banana smoothie demonstrated how important health messages can be taken on board through imagination and fun. We would strongly recommend that all local organisations consider tapping into this excellent resource.
Well done Wychavon District Council. Keep up the good work.
