LOOK out for a new premium Hampshire lager launched this month by Andwell Brewing Company near Hook. Light golden in colour and brewed with English barley and gently spicy hops, this 4.8% abv premium lager is slowly matured prior to bottling to create a Czech-style pilsner.

Run by husband and wife team Adam and Helen Komrower since 2008, Hampshire Fare producer member Andwell’s is also backing CAMRA’s ‘Adopt a Mild in May’ campaign with its new May’s Mild Ale, and commemorating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with its Jubilee Ale, brewed from English barley and English sovereign hops. Let’s raise a glass and drink to that!

Visit Andwell Brewing Company during July’s Hampshire Food Festival for its Family Fun Day on Sunday 8 July 11am-4pm where there will be plenty of beer, local food, brewery tours, music, morris dancing and more!
