Mersey stars The Christians were prime movers in the soul scene that emerged out of England’s North West at the end of the 80s. Along with other iconic bands they brought a slicker, sophisticated, soul-flecked sound to the charts at the end of that heady decade.

Celebrating 27 years since their debut album The Christians, they’re back after a storming show last year.

  • BEN Waters and his band play amazing rock ‘n roll, blues and boogie numbers, along with ground breaking original tracks which are attracting worldwide interest.

Jools Holland described Ben Waters as one of his favourite piano players of all time. Ben has had a remarkable apprenticeship, having worked with many of the legendary greats of the rock ’n’ roll world including The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Shakin’ Stevens, Ray Davies and many others. He performs at Forest Arts in New Milton tomorrow night.

Originally taking influence from acts ranging from Joy Division, Depeche Mode, and Nine Inch Nails to Manic Street Preachers and Bush, Broken Links have evolved a unique sound. Broken Links have a strong loyal fanbase following two self-release EPs.
