ELECTRO pop pioneer, Gary Numan, has influenced everyone from industrial band Nine Inch Nails to comedy duo The Mighty Boosh.

Monday’s show at the 02 Academy Bournemouth will see such iconic electro anthems as 1979 number one, Cars and big hits, Are Friends Electric, Complex, We Are Glass and I Die: You Die.

Numan will also be playing newer material for his loyal fanbase, known as Numanoids.

“I recognise a certain debt to my history and the fans who have been with me for a long time so I do some old stuff, but not that much. I don’t want to do greatest hits tours every time because I’d get bored with that and it’d be a step backwards,” says Numan.

Still going strong, the musician has also released a new DVD, Machine Music: The Best of Gary Numan.

Limited tickets are available for the south coast show.
