TWO Hampshire singers and their bandmates are calling for support to help them kickstart their music careers and make records with a world-famous R&B star T-Pain.
Ringwood teenager Gideon Read, 17, and Southampton University student Mitchell Zhangazha, 20, are part of boyband New Bounce.
The R&B and Motown four-piece boyband hit the headlines in 2011, when they finished third in hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent. Now they are aiming to collaborate with Grammy winning US R&B artist and producer T-Pain.
But to secure the funds to do this, they need to raise £75,000 which will pay for flights, accommodation, writing, recording, video productions, video appearances and T-Pain’s services in the studio.
Kim Read, who is the mum of Gideon hopes this opportunity will lead to the band making waves in the music industry.
Kim, said: “This is what could make or break their careers or really put them on another platform. It is a real stepping stone to stardom.”
Since Britain’s Got Talent they have toured and worked with various producers in the UK, and they are planning on embarking on an American tour this year.

New Bounce are managed by Music Media Management and Pyramid Global Entertainment – but they are not yet signed to a record label – but hope this collaboration will lead to further success and being signed.
