BESTIVAL has this morning revealed the first wave of acts to join the Summer of Love bill.

The first announcement includes The Chemical Brothers headlining Saturday and Underworld headlining the Big Top on Thursday.

Legendary names like Duran Duran, The Jacksons and Roisin Murphy will be there too.

And alongside this nostalgic line-up there will be exciting current acts such as Gorgon City, Duke Dumont and Rae Morris.

There is also a really strong DJ line-up with Annie Mac, Seth Troxler and Lily Allen showing us what she can do behind the decks.

This is just the first wave of acts and with plenty more including the Friday and Sunday night headliners coming soon.

Organiser Rob da Bank said: “We're taking it right back to our roots for the 12th annual Bestival.

"It's also the 20th birthday of the club where it all started - Sunday Best, and that club and our beloved Bestival were founded on some pretty simple aims - listen to amazing music, make new friends, have fun, and maybe stay up all night.

"Two decades later we're rigidly sticking to those principles, and this edition of Bestival, with its Summer of Love theme, is all about one huge musical, well, orgy."

Bestival is September 10-13 at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight.
