CANADIAN synth-indie pop troupe Alvvays will play an exclusive Glastonbury Festival warm-up gig at Southampton’s The Joiners on June 25.

The hotly-tipped five-piece, which are pronounced Always, will appear at the legendary venue in St Mary Street ahead of a string of UK festival dates, including Reading and Leeds festivals and End of the Road in September.

The Toronto-based band released their acclaimed self-titled debut last year and singles Adult Diversion, Next of Kin, Archie, Marry Me, and Party Police were picked up by radio stations and the music press.

Tickets are £12 and are available from joinerslive.co.uk or seetickets.com.
