SOUTHAMPTON-based independent music publication So Young Magazine is celebrating its second birthday with two eagerly awaited concerts.
The Magic Gang plus special guests will be performing at the second of two dates at Lennon’s on June 6.
It follows a show featuring Baby Strange and special guests at The Old Blue Last in London.
Co-founder Sam Ford said: “The events are to celebrate another year of So Young Magazine, the fully illustrated new music magazine.
“While it’s becoming an international magazine, it was curated by two lads from Southampton and we are very proud to be able to celebrate our birthday with the friends who have made everything possible, from telling their mates to buying T-shirts.
“We just want to have fun with lots of our favourites from our magazines to |date.”
The Daily Echo’s former music correspondent Rory McKeown said: “Sam Ford’s art collaborative So Young Magazine is fast proving itself as a premier resource in the independent music scene.
“It is a real credit to Southampton’s music scene.”
