IT’s a salute to musicians who have become household names and the biggest tribute festival in the South.

PhoneyFEST which was launched five years ago has become such a huge hit that a fourth day has been added.

Spread over the Bank Holiday – May 22 to May 25 – Eastleigh’s Concorde Club will once again be the setting for a mega tribute to a galaxy of chart busting superstars ranging from the Rolling Stones to the outrageous queen of pop Lady Gaga.

Thousands are expected to flock to the Stoneham Lane club to pay homage to the sounds of the biggest names in the popular music world.

Nearly 40 acts will be part of the festival beat which will run indoors and outdoors and perform from two stages.

There will also be a chance for festival goers to have stars in their eyes as they are invited to headline PhoneyFEST by taking centre stage in the Rockaoke sessions.

With a playlist of 240 hit songs music fans will be spoilt for choice.

The Concorde’s Jamie Mathieson says: ““We are delighted to welcome 39 different tribute acts over the bank holiday weekend to what is the biggest four day tribute festival in the South.

“We have limited amount of tickets left so don’t miss out!”

Main sponsors are the Snows Group and this picture shows PhoneyFEST being flagged up on the Stoneham Lane club’s spectacular new electronic sign.
