SHE is the voice of Elsa in Frozen and a Broadway star known to a generation of youngsters for her powerhouse vocal on Let It Go.

Now Idina Menzel has embarked on her biggest UK and Ireland tour to date, including the Bournemouth International Centre next Friday, June 26.

Apart from performing her Oscar-winning song from Disney’s global box office smash Frozen, her prolific recording career includes the solo albums I Stand, Here and Still I Can’t Be Still.

After her performance of the multi-platinum song Let It Go at the 86th annual Academy Awards, she made history as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting.

Idina Menzel earned her first Tony nomination as Maureen in the Pulitzer Prize- winning musical ‘Rent’, and won the award for her performance as Elphaba in Wicked. Other notable roles include Rachel Berry’s mother, Shelby Corcoran, on the hit television show Glee as well as starring opposite Susan Sarandon and Amy Adams in Disney’s Enchanted.

This unlikely 43-year-old teen idol will draw on an eclectic mix of songs but we can expect some spectacular showstopping theatre tunes from the stunning soprano.

Tickets are not cheap: they range from £39.55 to £91.50.
