The 1865 (55207501)
TWO Southampton music venues are to merge.
The 1865, which has hosted recent sell out shows from Levellers, Hawkwind and Dr Feelgood, will now be run by the team behind The Talking Heads.
As well as relocating to the former Maple Leaf Club, Guy Benfield and his team have taken a lease on The 1865, which will now be known as The 1865 (a Talking Heads venue).
Upcoming shows at the 750 capacity venues include Fairport Convention and Big Country.
