SATURDAY marks the biggest national event on the music calendar for independent record shops across the country as they celebrate Record Store Day 2016.

Hundred Records in Romsey will be joining in the celebrations with live in-store performances for all local music fans to enjoy.

They’ll have some very special music performances throughout the day with award-winning Nashville starlet Diana Jones playing in store at 2.30pm.

And in true Record Store Day style, Hundred Records will also be stocking a range of limited edition vinyl records exclusive to independent record shops.

2016 will see the ninth celebration of the UK's unique independent sector.

This year’s event includes exclusive releases from the likes of David Bowie, Primal Scream, Florence and the Machine and even Alan Partridge.

Doors in Romsey open at 8am with queues expected to emerge from the early hours, so arrive early to avoid disappointment!
