PHILLIP Schofield hosts a celebration of the legendary Knights of the entertainment industry at Mayflower Theatre on Sunday night.

The Knights of Music showcases the decorated Britons who have transformed the face of music, film and theatre throughout the ages - Sir Elton John, Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Sir Cliff Richard, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Paul McCartney and The Beatles, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Bob Geldof and many more.

The show features the best of British talent, performed by some of the UK’s most highly acclaimed singers accompanied by a dazzling live band straight from London’s West End.

Celebrated singers Danielle Hope, Laura Tebbutt, Emily Jane Brooks, Simon Schofield, Liam Doyle and Andy Coxon will appear on stage.

"It promises to be a great night of music and surprises. It's been quite a while since I've appeared on stage so I'm really looking forward to a great evening," said TV presenter Phillip Schofield.

We reveal Phillip Schofield's Mayflower memories and nerves at auditioning for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber in an interview in tomorrow's Seven Days, free with the Daily Echo.
