SCOTTISH rock band Travis are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a UK tour that takes in Bournemouth 02 Academy on Tuesday May 17.

The chart-topper's long established career boasts more than five UK top 10 hit singles and two number one albums.

Fans will be able to see the band perform hits from their seminal album, ‘The Man Who’, including ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me’ , along with tracks from their brand-new album, ‘Everything at Once’ including '3 Miles High' and the new single 'Magnificent Time'.

Guitarist Andy Dunlop recently remarked in a Wave 105 interview that the new album was ‘sunny’.

And describing the dedication of Travis fans from across the world, singer-songwriter Fran Healy explained: “I made a dance for the song [Magnificent Time], a goofy kind of line-dance, and all 2,000 Japanese people, they all knew the dance. It was the first time we ever played the song EVER live, and they all knew the dance. I was like, how the hell do they know the dance? And then after everyone had gone out I noticed there were loads of these bits of paper on the ground with the dance moves all printed on it.”
