HIS last Concorde Club appearance was hailed as the best the club has ever seen.
Billy Ocean has been invited back after impressing club boss Jamie Mathieson in 2014.
The soul star is gearing up for a sell out return on Thursday.
It follow his headline spot on TV’S London Palladium show and will showcase the recent release of his double CD Here You Are: The Best Of Billy Ocean, featuring new tracks, along with a selection of his greatest hits.
The 66 year-old star has sold more than 30 million records and collected a pile of Gold and Platinum records across the world.
Born in Trinidad, Billy settled came to London at the age of seven. The calypso crazy kid soon got turned on to soul singers like Otis Redding and Sam Cooke, as well as pop groups like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, leading him to spend much of his study time in the music room.
Billy got his first big break with his second single was Love Really Hurts Without You, which reached number two in the UK chart. He also soared into the Top 20 with Love on Delivery and Stop Me. Then Red Light Spells Danger became a smash in both the UK and the US.
