SOUTHAMPTON singer-songwriter Elaine McLaughlin is getting festival ready this summer following the launch of her EP.
Rapidly winning over new fans with her captivating and thought-provoking performances, the city Mum has gained a slot at Wickham Festival this August.
The release of her debut EP Six More Days, which includes her original song A Little Too and was produced by Nathan Thomas at Obelisk Studio in Woolston, follows a successful year.
Elaine was a finalist in the acoustic and folk category of the UK Songwriting Contest and performed to a crowd of 600 at Birmingham NEC in the Grand Final of Open Mic UK.
She is a regular in the clubs and bars of Southampton and Winchester, accompanied by good friend and talented cellist Judi Galbraith.
